I think I am mostly defined by my curiosity. I always wonder how things work, why people make certain choices and what will happen if I try something new. The colours and texture of textile have continuously been irresistible for me. I enjoy the transformation from material to garment, the spatial challenges, crafting the 'worthless' into something valuable and fun.
For me there is magic in this process, even more when it is challenging.
At 14 I hated school and said that I only wanted to sew. But I did go to university to get all possible grades and degrees. I worked in the public sector till I retired myself at 60-something. Now I am very excited to share my passions with you at MEUCK.
This is my choreography, at least, that is how I like to see it.

For as long as I can remember, Mom and I have been making things. This trait 100 percent comes from her passion for sewing and her loving patience in bringing my wildest (clothing) fantasies to life through her craft. From 3D snowman dresses to full Winx costumes, it was - and still is - always a safe space for creativity, fun, and bold outfit choices.
